Education

The Sierra Nevada Mining and Industry Council (SNMIC) is dedicated to the education of the public about socially and environmentally responsible mining and resource industries.

School Programs

Members of the Sierra Nevada Mining and Industry Council (SNMIC) provides educational talks to public and high school classes to promote and education youth about the benefits of the mining and resource industries in Nevada County.

Scholarships

The Sierra Nevada Mining and Industry Council (SNMIC) works to provide scholarships to youths related to careers in the mining and resource industries.

Training Programs

The Sierra Nevada Mining and Industry Council (SNMIC) will work with colleges and universities to establish training programs that will provide graduates opportunities in the mining and resource industries.

Donations

Donations to go to scholarships or educational programs are welcomed.
